Innovation Drives Leading Industry Brands
The China Fruit & Vegetable Trade Fair 2017 (China FVF 2017) took place on November 3 to November 5. Over a period of nine years, China FVF has gained recognition as a central event for China’s fruit and vegetable industry. China FVF is a joint effort by the China Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Association (CIQA) and China Great Wall International Exhibition Co., Ltd. (GIE) with support from the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China (AQSIQ).
The Philippines leads Exhibitors from 14 Nations
About 300 exhibitors from 14 countries and regions, including Australia, Chile, China, France, Japan, New Zealand, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey, United States etc., shared over 500 new varieties and 1,200 brands at China FVF 2017. International exhibitors presented products to test potential markets.
The Philippines was invited to accelerate the integration of fruit and vegetable trade between partner countries of the “The Belt and Road Initiative”. A special exhibition area to present and promote trade of high-quality fruit and vegetables from the National Exported Food and Production Quality Safety Demonstration Areas was supervised by AQSIQ.

Industry professionals and buyers from 36 countries and regions got gathered in Beijing last weekend to participate in China FVF 2017. China FVF has become an unavoidable event for major players of the international fruit and vegetable industry. B2B “Matching Meetings” were arranged to facilitate cooperation between buyers and suppliers.
Produce Conference: Key players deliver front-line insight
China FVF 2017 maintained the theme, “Fresh Innovation Drives Leading Industry Brands”. International officials and industry leaders met to analyze the market, interpret relevant Chinese trade policies, and discuss brand establishment and tech innovation. An “Innovation Zone” and “Fruit & Vegetable Floral Arrangement Tournament” were arranged to promoted novelty and change within the industry.
China FVF strives annually to establish a grander and more professional platform for a fruit and vegetable industry that satisfies consumers’ ever-growing need.
