Since the founding of Dalat Hasfarm with one hectare of wooden greenhouses growing roses in Dalat, Vietnam in 1994, Hasfarm Holdings through organic growth and a series of smart acquisitions today operates across Asia and Oceana, and is held up by many in the industry as the standard for a modern and well-managed floriculture operation in Asia.

The new greenhouses in Luxi county are part of a government-invested production cluster that features more than 1,600 hectares of closely-packed land devoted to flower production.

The 2nd INTERPOMA CHINA International Congress & Exhibition was successfully held from June 28-29, 2018 in Weihai, Shandong Province. During the two trade show days, 1000 professionals, including researchers, experts and renowned companies, visited Interpoma China, and 650 delegates participated in the Congress, which featured a series of speakers from China and overseas on the topics of apple cultivation, storage and marketing. Two tours have been organized to showcase the fast development of modern orchards in Weihai with the support of the local government authorities.

FloraHolland transacts more than 12.5b plant and flower items each year with 2017 revenue of EUR 4.7b, and runs the world’s largest flower auction at Aalsmeer. Whereas FloraHolland’s traditional role involves helping suppliers to find buyers for their flowers, “in China, we want to focus on the market side and adopt the newest ecommerce techniques,” says country director, Martijn van Os.
